August 2020 – Current Human Resource Coordinator / Carter’s Clothing Distribution Center, Georgia

Assist HR managers with recruitment, record maintenance, payroll processing, and provide clerical support to all employees in Spanish and English. Assist in job fairs, local events, and individual recruitment. Including in Spanish to Hispanic community.

Entering in payroll, leave of absence, holiday pay for employees using ADP and Etime software.

Assist HR managers with COVID-19 contact tracing. Created a database for tracking of positive cases, negatives with exposure, and pending to keep track of over 400 COVID-19 cases in the building.

Hire new employees using applicant tracking systems (sourcing, recruitment, interview, and processing into database).

Successfully completed first billboard advertisement campaign that reaches over one million motorists on highway 85 used to recruit for 400+ applicants a week during peak season.

August 2013 – June 2020 Social Studies Educator / Gwinnett County Public Schools, Georgia

Teaching high school world history, advanced placement psychology, sociology, and guided study for soft skills. Primary responsibilities of planning, organizing, creating and executing lessons using instructor-led and eLearning delivery.

As part of the county world history curriculum team, helped analyze, develop, and improve course curriculum. This included eLearning formats, storyboards, discussion boards, and training of other teachers.

After our world history team underperformed the previous year, led data analysis of our strengths and weaknesses in assessment to inform new instruction methodologies to effectively raise the scores above the county average.

Led weekly meetings as team leader using Microsoft Teams to collaborate with subject matter experts on instruction materials and delivery of content.

Led training of our learning management system school-wide and county-wide to achieve evaluation in the top 5% of all 4,000 high school teachers.
