Career Summary
July 2018 – July 2018: Unjani Clinic, Orange Farm (member of a network of privately owned primary healthcare clinics providing accessible, affordable and quality healthcare to low income communities)
Responsibilities:
Working under the supervision of nurses and other licensed medical professional.
Assisting nursing staff as directed, i.e. observing sick patients, completing and recording vital signs, dispensing medication.
Conducting specialised testing under supervision, i.e. urine and glucose testing, HIV testing and counselling.
Wound- care and dressing.
May 2018 - June 2018: Doug Whitehead Special School (facility for learners with specialized needs including severe mental illness and multiple disabilities)
Responsibilities:
Working one to one and in groups with learners with from various backgrounds and needs (i.e. Autism, Downs Syndrome, Epilepsy, Mentally Challenged and Hyperactive).

Responsibilities:
Assisting patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, oral hygiene, bowl and bladder functions, ear and eye care, transfer and mobility, observation for safety and comfort.
