Ability to problem-solve, study data and draw inferences. Ability to troubleshoot issues quickly. Leadership to progress my own project with experimental data and valuable results. Organizational and communication skills. RESEARCH :

1. Inflatables with Active Pneumatic Tether Tensegrity – General Motors+ UM (Aug 2019-Current)

• Designed and developed a new deployable inflatable device whose structural compliance could be altered in-situ. Researched multi-bladder inflatables that are selectively adjusted to manipulate stiffness, structure, and orientation.

• Tasks: Material studies, process development, prototype design and trade-off studies, multi-actuator optimization, computational modeling and validation, performance analysis, device controllability and predictability tests, error studies, device characterization, design space visualizations to choose best design.

• Skills: Technical skills to design, analyze, test and fabricate a working device prototype from scratch. Involved CAD 3D print techniques, operating heat presses. Ability to problem-solve, study data and draw inferences. Ability to troubleshoot issues quickly. Optimization skills that bettered the usage of the product while creating final prototype designs. 2. Explosive Vaporization Research (May-Dec 2017)

• Analyzed bubble formation interfaces during turbulence in explosive vaporization of R-134a to develop a theory of formation of bubbles.

• Tasks and Skills: Analysis of liquid interfaces and movement. Matlab coding to track disturbed interface motion and velocity during vaporization. Fourier Transform analysis of wave disturbance. Image analysis using ImageJ. 3. Finite Difference Wave Research (Oct 2018 -April 2019)
