Sep’2016 – to till: NAFFCO {National Fire Fighting Manufacturing FZCO} as Fire Trucks & Pumps Design Engineer

Major Duties:

Design and development for fire truck vehicles arrangement as per NFPA standards and also Support to production Development.

Prepare of fire truck general arrangement drawing of all customer requirements accessories Designing as per NFPA standards.

3D Designing (Solidworks) & simulation Creating the Fire truck vehicles and structural Details. Make recommendations on component selection and packaging for low-SWAP (Space, Weight, and Power) systems, designed for stressing environments. Designing the Fire-trucks including Water-Tanks, Water piping, support structure, Sheet-metal panel etc. in compliance with standards 3D Designing (Solidworks) & simulation Creating the Fire Pump Room and skid pump Details.

To co-ordinate with Production Team for their difficulties and corrective actions. Prepare of fire pumps General arrangement drawing as per customer requirements . Preparing Builders work Drawings, As built drawings, Bill of materials and coordinating drawings for the Fire Fighting system.

Administering the concept generation, designing, analysis, simulation, 3D modeling, detailing and NFPA 20, selection of materials, Pipe size, Flowmeter, PRV, Valve & fasteners etc. Performed hand and FEA calculations of fire pump house & skid structural analysis. Preparing Preliminary & Detailed Design for Fire Fighting System. Reviewing Design Drawings & Calculations as per Specs & Standards. Reviewing As-Built Drawings as per Specifications, Codes/Standards & Requirements. Calculating Bill Of Material from the Design Drawings& assist the development of Cost Estimation for Fire Fighting Systems.

Hands-on experience in fire pump testing(Factory Acceptance Test )methode and mentioned records.

Developing training materials and conducting training sessions to all technical personnel on installation and maintenance of fire protection systems. Providing high level, specialist support for the effective resolution of technical issues arising during the manufacture and testing of pumps.
