Strategic Sourcing Manager-

Responsible for over 190 million WW for MRO spend for BDX across 50+ sites WW to develop and implement a corporate wide strategy, to provide BD the most value with the MRO category. 2011 thru 2014 implemented a BDX WW procurement strategy.

Results -Supply base of 20%, Savings in MRO average 5% per year, while improving Service levels for plants

Savings exceeding 10 Million dollars since conception.

Plant Manager-

During this period, I was responsible for operations of BDBI. These responsibilities for operations included Supply Chain, Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing, and Manufacturing Engineering.

During 5 years built a manufacturing operation from R&D into a structured manufacturing process.

Reduced Standard cost on instruments by greater than 40%

Lead a team to launched the Pathway 435 product in 12 months.

Implemented Quality procedures for R&D development of new instruments to support a phase gated instrument release process.

Manage a on-site machine shop to vertically integrate 60% of raw materials

Developed and implemented a transfer of BDBI operations into BDBSJ operations.

Duracell, Lancaster, South Carolina 1997 – 2004

Electrical Engineering Manager-

During the seven years at Duracell I have was responsible for all Electrical Engineering functions during an extraordinary heavy capital investment period of over $100 million. I was responsible for all facility electrical expansion. I also managed an Electrical Engineering department that designed 60% of all controls systems installed in this facility during the last five years.

During 2003 and 2004 I was responsible for refocusing the Electrical Engineering department into a diverse team, while still supporting a $ 3 million capital budget

Increased productivity from 750 cells/labor-hour to 1450 cell/labor-hour.

Reduced plant scrap level from 2.0% to 0.6% realizing $3.0 million in annualized savings.

Improved plant OEEII by 30%
