Job Summary:
Provided proactive safety support to internal and external working site facilities. Permit to work (PTW).
Understanding all aspects of PTW (Permit to Work) functions including job risk assessments and isolation risk assessments etc.
Coordination of permit to work at site, pipeline & plant with job performers.
Job Responsibilities
As a HSE Permit coordinator my responsibility was to monitor and record the operation of the permit system. Acted as focal point for all matters relating to permit issue and control
Ensured the correct permit and isolation certificate is used& provided assistance to PA in completing all details of the permit in section 1 as far as practicable; to ensure that all details are accurate and relevant to the work taking place.
Conducted and attended PTW and risk assessment meetings. Attended relevant work planning and schedule meetings to carry out regular audits on the PTW system.
Maintaining the permit register and long-term isolations register; to carry out audits as specified in HSEMS system. Training of personnel to implement the PTW system

Awareness and understanding of all safety rules and regulations in the company.

Co-ordinate and monitor the "Permit to Work" system.
Periodically inspection of tools and other Safety related equipment’s & recommendation
Take advice and instruction from the HSE manager.
Ensure risk assessment have been carried out for work activities.
Arrange Safety induction training from QChem. for new comers.
Continuous monitoring of gas detector
Control lifting equipment’ sand movements of vehicle on the site per international safety standard· Achieve zero accident fire report.
