Recommended self help books and advocated for the child’s mental health services as needed.

Qualified Developmentally Disabled Professional QDDP-Holly’s Homes Russellville, AL November 2019-August 2020. State certified QDDP. Supervised and ran 3 group homes Screened residents for group home. Assisted nurse in checking in medications MAC, CPR, and CPI certified. Created monthly reports for case manager, QIDP of ARC and Region 1 Mental Health of Alabama to make sure that all were informed of ongoing behaviors, staffing issues, the need for more staff etc. Went to all psych appointments and gave input to the psychiatrist about any behavioral or medication issues that arise. Program Coordinator-NWAMHC Double Springs, AL May 2019-November 2019 Supervised and ran group home for 14 residents. Screened clients for group home. Made the schedule for staff. Gave out scheduled and PRN medications. Assured all were fed clothed and went to day treatment. Assisted with any mental health issues. Wrote treatment plans. Received case management training from state certified schooling. Assured that the wellbeing of each resident was taken into consideration. Assured residents rights were not being violated. MAC.
