ACADEMIC PROJECTS
RADAR(Radio Detection and Ranging) system modelling in Adaptive Cruise Control March 2020
Conducted a detail research on model simulation to estimate the speed and range of the target vehicle.
Helped design and develop a Simulink model for RADAR system in Adaptive Cruise Control.
Implemented the model using FMCW(Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave Radar) and MFSK technology.
LIDAR mapping December 2019
Pursued a literature review on LIDAR(Light Detection and Ranging)mapping and SLAM(Simultaneous Localization and Mapping) algorithms in autonomous vehicles.
Conducted a detailed study on detecting obstacles within the proximity of self-driving cars using a 360-degree LIDAR sensor mounted on top of the vehicle.
Acquired detailed understanding on concepts of current and future Automotive technologies.
Bi-directional DC-DC converter December 2019
Designed a model on Simulink for a Fly back converter using IGBT switches and controlled its operations using a PID controller.
Analysed the various parameters along with loss breakdown of the converter. Learnt model design on Simulink along with in depth understanding of Fly back converters.
Vehicle Accident Prevention Control Using Eye Blink Sensor February - May 2017
Developed a program to control a vehicle in an accident-prone area using the measure of blinking of eyes with the help of an IR sensor.
Established logic board connections of the microcontroller (AT8S52), IR sensor, buzzer and motor.
