March 2016 to June 2020

Served as the Enlisted Strength Manager for III Corps and Fort Hood and 3 outlining Division elements located at Fort Carson, Fort Riley, and Fort Bliss. Advises and assists Division and Brigade Separate leadership in all matters involving Human Capital in support of over 100,000+ Service members.

U.S. Army, Senior Human Resource Manager – Master Sergeant (E-8) HQ, 1st Cavalry Division, Fort Hood, TX

August 2010 to July 2015

As a Senior Human Resources Manager for the U.S. Army, developed and implemented policies and procedures in areas not limited to performance evaluations, personnel inquiries, and military pay programs in support of an Aviation organization comprised of over 3,200Soldiers.

• Instructed a monthly division level HR operations course; training as many as 35 HR technicians monthly throughout the 1st Cavalry Division comprised of 6 brigades and 1 separate Battalion.

• Managed the Combined Joint Task Force-1 awards section in support of 30,000 service members, civilians, and coalition forces throughout Regional Command East; Afghanistan. Leading a team of 7 HR clerks to process over 40,000 combat awards is the span of 1 year.

• Upon redeployment, facilitated the placement of 1st Cavalry Division Liaison Officers for two major Military Medical Treatment Facilities, coordinating with the Human Resources Command and U.S. Army Forces Command to interview and screened over 200 candidates remotely.

• Provided training and personnel guidance to senior leadership and HR personnel during weekly staff assistance visits, improving the personnel readiness of 6 battalions by 10%.

• Utilized HR Data analytics and interpersonal communication skills to staff depleted HR sections within 3 subordinate organizations; increasing the organization’s HR population from 50% to 95%.

Operated as an Equal Opportunity Advisor and Sexual Assault Response Coordinator during Operation Iraqi Freedom 09-10; advising Commanders in the areas of EO and sexual assault prevention and response in support of over 30,000 service members and civilians.

• Conducted quarterly EO training for over 300 Officers and Soldiers, ensuring they possessed knowledge of Federal, and Department of Defense laws and policies to assist unit commanders in meeting EOguidelines.

• Responsible for populating unit Quarterly Narrative and Statistical Report; collecting and organizing demographical EO data for over 20,000 Soldiers; spanning eight subordinate organizations.

• Provided Commanders guidance on EEO laws, regulations, policies and standards, and procedural management for handling complaints pertaining to issues of discrimination of all kind.

• Provided impartial counsel to both plaintiffs and defendants of discrimination, resulting in 80 percent of complaints being resolved through mediation at the lowest level of Command.

• Compiled a step by step Sexual Assault First Responders SOP, which dramatically increased response time for victims of assault throughout Iraqi area of operation.

• Collaborated closely with agents of the Army’s Central Intelligence Division agents to provide expedition closure to victims of sexual assault; ensuring the utmost respect and dignity to all parties involved.

August 2005 to July 2008

Operated as a Senior HR Sergeant provided human resources in support of a forward deployed tactical communications organization consisting of over 1200 Soldiers for an Expeditionary Signal Brigade.
