Job Title: Enterprise Server Support Manager (February 1, 2013 - present) To manage the server infrastructure of PDS - planning, leading, organizing, monitoring, controlling. Duties and responsibilities:

Primary Function:

1) Server Management

• To closely monitor the performance of ALL servers and storage devices inside the Datacentres

• To provide thorough analysis and recommendation of server set-up during projects and expansion undertakings.

• To maintain harmonious relationship with 3rd party carriers to avoid any possible friction this may arise especially during project implementation. In this light, soundness of the servers may not be compromised at any cost.

• To undertake quick damage control in times of technical breakdown.

• To isolate possible causes of server failures in order to avoid complaints that may be raised by both users and customers.

2) Control and management of server services provided by 3rd party vendors

• To coordinate with suppliers and other third party carriers to ensure availability reliability and integrity of the servers.

• To monitor project installations.

• To maintain all servers and storage equipment including tape backup storage. 3) Incident / Problem management

• To carefully analyze problems at hand and determine the course of action to be applied on servers, storage (SAN and Tape library)

• To document procedures and all changes undertaken during projects. Responsible in communicating the above procedures to the relevant parties to ensure effective production implementation.

• To ensure that proper testing procedures are followed during project implementation in an environment separate from production operation.

• Incident detection and confirmation arising from either monitoring or other means, shall include timely escalation to the Managed helpdesk, and the administrator onsite services on physical 3

facilities (where necessary, to rectify the incidents. In the event that a workaround or temporary resolution has been put in place, a separate approved date/time (after office hours) shall be proposed (with root cause analysis performed and presented) and scheduled, to roll-in the permanent fix.
