• Developing post-form powder coat requirements and validation procedure. o Working with coating vendors, powder supplier, and pre-treatment chemical vendors to outline process requirements

• Implementing torque control tools on safety critical fasteners (LSS Green Belt project) o Developing with vendors appropriate torque specifications for critical joints o Defining torque tool system requirements.

• Responsible for fulfilling warranty and aftermarket orders for fence at a rate of 7 orders a day

• Implemented cut-sequence process to reduce aluminum extrusion scrap and facilitate training of new employees

• Worked with Engineering, maintenance and tooling vendors for successful model year 2020 launch of fence designs

o Involved changes to 3 boat models and all their floor plans. o Eliminated moving or pinned blocks in fixtures to reduce rejects. o 8 weld fixtures created to accommodate projected production levels.

• Tracked and maintained metrics to drive improvement (such as on-time preventative maintenance completion, mean time between failure-MTBF, and mean time to repair) through use of root cause analysis, problem solving skills, and lean manufacturing tools.
