DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
a. Implement safety and health policies at the Project site;
b. Assess and approves Safety Work Permit for permit required works or activities;
c. Conduct Safety orientation/induction to all newly hired employees/workers before endorsement to construction site;
d. Conduct regular inspection and monitoring to identify unsafe acts/conditions that may lead to accident;
e. Recommends appropriate courses of action to mitigate any deficiencies/infractions found during inspection;
f. Issues Safety Violation Ticket/Deviation Notice Report for any safety infractions;
g. Conducts and leads Incident investigation to determine the cause(s) to provide measures to prevent recurrence of the same incident/accident;
h. Conducts regular tool box meetings;
i. Conducts required emergency drills;
j. Assess and provide necessary safety precautionary signs and measures for safety awareness and accident prevention;
k. Leads the overall housekeeping of Project site’s common areas;
l. Supervise the Project site’s housekeeping group/personnel;
m. Submission of Legal and other requirements pertaining to safety;
n. Submission of necessary weekly/monthly safety reports and other reports as may be required by OSH Dept. Head or Management from time to time;
