Yoga Therapy is relatively new in western culture.

Using the science of yoga, a yoga therapy helps with many aliments. Most common but not limited to, chronic pain, anxiety, and depression. As a yoga therapist I bring Eastern and Western medicine together. Using the combined knowledge allows me to work with the body as a whole. Giving the client practices they take into their daily lives. And with these practices increase their quality of life.

Summary

The past 17 years I have taught yoga and Pilate’s and seen firsthand the healing power of yoga. In the classes I have taught athletes of all ages, injuries from head to toes inside and out, and ages from 5 to 75. Each class is different each person is different. My education is diverse so I can bring the most to each class, each student.

Education

In the spring of 2019, I started on the path of Yoga Therapy. Beginning my education with Breathing Deeply Yoga Therapy. Within my studies I have worked on case studies and added to my classes. Upon request I can send information from my education over the past 17 years.

As a Yoga Therapist I will work one on one with clients. Sometimes after they have not found relief from western medication. Or after their treatment has ended. I work with their medical professionals: Doctors, PT, OT, talk therapy, Psychologist, and acupuncturist. The aim being to heal all layers of the client. To give them the knowledge to live a healthy, productive, and happy life.
