Senior Piping Designer

Led plant walk-downs and directed the design of piping systems throughout all of the units in the plant, including clarifiers, exchangers, and storage tanks. Verified drawings submitted by outside engineering companies.

Senior Piping Designer, Dock 6 Addition, Existing Dock Modification

Participated in site walk-downs to identify tie-ins and generate material take-offs. Prepared models of the layout for new crude oil/USLD dock 6 equipment and the necessary piping to reconnect to existing docks and plant facilities. Also designed new gasoline loading arms, an MVCU safety skid, a blower skid, K.O., and a flare for dock 2. Designs included modifications to the existing gasoline shipping piping.

Senior Piping Designer, North Storage Facility

Tasked to a lead role for a project to design butane and propane storage facilities and enhancements to the metering stations. Identified equipment, determined tank locations, and piping between the storage area and plant locations.

Visited the site to oversee the demolition that was required for the additions and learn the locations for the tie points. Used Bentley software to prepare 2D/3D piping design layouts and isometric drawings.
