Relevant Experience
In over 30 years of experience with Public Works I have successfully managed all facets of underground projects, from fieldwork to estimating to project management.
In 2007 I estimated a $10 million project for Whiting-Turner in Rialto. After being awarded the project for the Target Distribution Center my responsibilities for this project, in addition to my estimating duties elsewhere, included recruiting two new crews and managing the project as Superintendent. The project included installing 96” RCP through Robertson’s plant. From start to finish I worked closely with our client as well as Robertson’s and provided excellent customer service to minimize the impact on Robertson’s.
While functioning as Superintendent of the aforementioned Whiting-Turner Project I bid and was awarded a $5 million CML&C project with Jurupa Community Services District. This Public Works project was one of many 54” PVC lined sewer and 48” CML&C I bid and/or managed with the Jurupa CSD. I demonstrated an ability to bid a Public Works Project all while managing a large private project.
While at S.J. Burkhardt I estimated and was project manager of a $20 million job with the city of Cathedral City. This job included organization of sub-contractors from Curb and Gutter Sidewalk and installation of new asphalt roads. I was fully present on this job while still functioning as Senior Estimator for the company. Qualifications and Skills
