During my previous role at Mimosa Mining Company I did the following,

- Maintenance of single and three phase equipment in company Villas and Lodges.

- Maintenance of Sandvik, Fletcher,

Mine Master and Huatai DRILL RIGS and their PLC controlled electro-hydraulics.

- Daily pre-shift checks and service of Drill rigs in relevance to Original Equipment Manufacturer's specifications and Planned Maintenance job orders,

- Breakdown repairs of the DRILL RIGS in a manner set to minimize downtime which may affect production.

- Performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on unexpected failures to prevent repeat occurances.

- Assessing equipment and suggesting preventive maintenance to be scheduled on cause for concern matters and communicating to the Planner through filling in machine work orders.

- Reporting components status to the Engineer or Foreman .

- Authorised equipment modifications and putting recommendations or Suggestions to the OEM through the Engineer.

- Reporting cable status to the Engineer and Safety Health and Environment department.

- Ensuring the correct work mode of safety devices before the start of every shift.

- Attending weekly machine perfomance meetings together with safety meetings.

- tracking spare parts through the Procurement Department.

- Installation of both single and three phase systems.

- Maintenance of workshop power tools and workshop machines.

- Wiring three phase induction motor starters, troubleshooting and breakdown repairs of other equipment using the appropriate testing devices.

- 11KV/ 500volts Substation maintenance.

- Lighting systems maintenance and Armoured and TRS cable maintenance, cable laying, cable jointing and repair using cable fault locators.

- Quaterly ELCB test and regular Insulation resistance of equipment.

- Preparation for DQS Audits in order to retain ISO Certifications.
