PROJECT CONDUCTED IN ACADEMICS:

Final year projection experimental performance analysis of gasoline vehicle blended with hydrogen gas. It is selected as one of the best project for the state level and sponsored by KSCST (Karnataka state council for science and technology) and it is recognized and approved by government of Karnataka and Indian institute of science, government of India. In this project we used water as a fuel to run the vehicle, here we prepared the hydrogen generator for the production of hydrogen by our own technical knowledge by using some journals and here we given first preference to the safety that’s why in this we adopt a device called bubbler. This device is used to avoid the back fire caused by the vehicles and also contamination produced in the hydrogen generator because as we know that the hydrogen is having a very high calorific value of 150 thousand kilo joule/kg that's why it catches the fire sometimes due to higher production of hydrogen. In this project we adopt one more safety device called flame arrestor. This device is also used to arrest the fire or to quench the fire. In our project we blended the 1.87% of hydrogen with the gasoline (petrol) for the proper combustion of fuel and to reduce the amount of pollutants called carbon monoxide (co) and hydrocarbons (hc) released through the exhaust to the atmosphere and in our project the amount of pollutants released are less than that of the pollutants released in the BS-IV (bharat stage-iv) engine and it is proved by the emission test carried by the government of karnataka. Here they carried the emission test on the vehicle what actually we purchased for our project after adopted our own prepared hydrogen generator actually we alter that bike according to our project need to reduce the pollutants and here we adopted the extra switch system for the proper usage of hydrogen gas and here we only used the bike battery to produce the electricity for the production of hydrogen gas. (used vehicle for our project is Yamaha ybr 125 cc engine).
