Project Details:

Title: CHARACTERIZATION OF MACULAR EDEMA

Description: It mainly aims to detect the Macular Edema in Retinal layers. The OCT image is denoised using Gaussian filter to reduce noise. Otsu thresholding is emloyed on the Gaussian filtered output to obtain the segmented image. Feature extraction is performed and from the features extracted four parameters were derived and are given to the trained classifier and the image is predicted as Edema or healthy retina.
