i.Trained to perform Cardiopulmonary resuscitation;

ii.Performs necessary non-invasive procedure such as BI-PAP, CPAP- Nasal High-flow;

iii.Administers mechanical ventilatory support for neonatal, pediatric, and adult;

iv.Performs assessment and diagnostic procedure to determine patient treatment needs;

v.Performs Different types of Pulmonary Function Tests;

vi.Weans off patient from mechanical ventilator (Neonatal, pediatric, adult);

vii.Administers therapeutic procedures such as:

a.Oxygen therapy

b.Aerosol therapy

c.Chest physiotherapy

d.Lung expansion therapy

viii.Performing tests and studies related to the cardiopulmonary system (e.g p.Peak expiratory flow rate, arterial blood gas, pulmonary function test, etc.);

ix.Analyzing blood samples to determine levels of oxygen and other gases;

xix.Extracts, analyzes result for error and critical values in arterial blood gas sample, venous blood gas sample, and pleural fluid analysis;

xx.Instruction of pulmonary function test and troubleshoot equipment to resolve problem in obtaining reproductive data;

xxi.Performs Chest physiotherapy procedure using mechanical percussor and instruct patients in performance of breathing exercises after each treatment;

xxii.Performs and recommends tentative interpretation of test obtained from physiological specimen which will assist in the diagnosis and determination of the degree of impairment of relevant aspects of cardiopulmonary efficiency;

xxiii.Performs oxygen rounds as necessary to monitor patient compliance in treatment and setting;

xxiv.Performs assessment to patient to determine frequency and duration;

xxv. Ensures careful adherence to physician’s order;

xxvi.Follows strictly all hospital work instructions, policies, and memo;

xxvii.Observes patients rights.
