JOB PROFILE:
Bachelor of Engineering(B.E) in Mechanical Department,have been involved as a PIPING INSPECTOR or QC WELDING INSPECTOR. A dynamic profession, having CSWIP 3.1 and ASNT- NDT-LEVEL-II with 6 Years of Experience in Construction of various Projects Especially Oil & Gas, Water Storage Reservoirs in Piping and Welding in various phase of inspections including Materials, Pipe laying, Welding and testing.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Review of all QA QC documents such as Inspection Testing and Planning, Method of Statement, all relevant drawings and standards prior to work.
Material Receiving Inspection accordance with the Material Approval Request, Material specification, Material grade, Chemical composition, Dimension, Country of Orgin Material test Certificate & Certificate of conformity.
Piping inspections and surveillance for the laying, setting out, elevation, for the pipelines as per the client requirement, Inspection Testing and planning..
Before welding, inspection of fit-up for proper root gap, groove angle, root face, preheat temperature, joint internal misalignment and surface is free from oil, rust, paint, moisture.
During welding, conduct the in-process welding inspection, check the pre heat and inter pass temperature, electrical parameters and inspecting proper cleaning between the weld beads.
After welding, do the visual inspection and do post weld heat treatment, if any required.
Analyze the root cause for welding defects and coordinate the issues with concerned persons to eliminate the defect by repairing or keep the same at a minimum level or in acceptable percentage.
Reviewing the inspection and testing methods and procedures for Radiographic, Dye penetrant, Magnetic Particle, and Ultrasonic inspections.
Witnessing the Pre-Test Punch list inspection.
Assures that all joints are exposed for examination during pressure test. .
As per the latest drawing for construction, codes and specification standards.
