Duties

: ADIA Division

Digitizing of cadastral boundaries and geonames using GeoMedia professional software.

Acquire and process aerial photography and other imagery, populate and maintain the geographical names database, and also prepare ancillary data for mapping purposes. Supply ancillary data to other divisions.

Training Division

Experiential Training with Chief Directorate National Geospatial Information for ND: Surveying performing allocated task including leveling, traversing, triangulation, GPS survey, Photo Annotation, road construction, setting out, compilation of plans using Model Maker and Surpac computer packages, performing survey calculations. Assist students (trainee) surveyors performing allocated Surveying tasks.
