Professional experience

December 2017 to March 2020 Renewal Bar and Kitchen / Co-Founder Created new entity to start Renewal Bar & Kitchen in Charlottesville. Completed company start up to live open in 4 months, including design- build, permitting, licensing and all aspects of collaborative hospitality venture with Autograph Hotel, CARR Properties and Donahoe Hospitality. The restaurant project closed in March of 2020 due to Covid.

January 2016 – September 2020 Ready.Beer / Project Manager / Consultant After co-creating Draft Taproom concept for 5th & Main, began coaching other business owners on self-serve system implementation. Completed multiple projects from PA to Colorado and became proficient in large draft system design and buildout. Recently completed a 60 tap system in Harrisonburg, a 57 tap system in AL, a 42 tap system in Richmond and a 24 tap rollout in VA Beach. These projects have been an opportunity to work with business owners to create and implement new hospitality concepts.

October 2014 – July 2017 5th & Main Holdings LLC / General Manager Managed local restaurant and catering company operating Commonwealth Skybar and Commonwealth Reserve. Added roof project to Skybar, Worked through local board of architectural review. Lead team to create Draft Taproom. Worked with varied interests to create a vision for creating hospitality partnerships. Raised over $80k for local charitable interests from October 2016 to June of 2017.

December 2010 to October 2014 Holiday Inn Monticello / Olympia Hotels / Director of Sales Came back to the hospitality business after previous position eliminated in downsizing. Bounced back, reorganized and helped re-launch of local hotel resulting in a solid improvement in the hotel operations in 2011. Hotel’s meeting and group operations now run smoothly. Operation met of exceeded revenue goals for 2012 - 2014.
