1. Title – CFD approach for aerodynamic design of axial flow fan’s blade April 2019 - March 2020
Under this project air flow across five types of aerofoil sections were simulated using ANSYS Fluent and based on the ratio of aerodynamic coefficients i.e., coefficient of lift and coefficient of drag, most favorable aerofoil section and angle of attack were suggested so that the fan blade has maximum lift force and minimum skin friction losses due to drag force. An angle of twist is also introduced in the blade design by repeating the same approach for 3 different cross sections of blade. 2. Title – To develop a prototype of Hovercraft that can hover over solid as well as liquid surfaces.
JULY 2014 - DECEMBER 2014
Hovercraft is an amphibian vehicle that can hover over any type of surface (solid or liquid) by maintaining an air cushion below the hull developed by large blowers. The prototype was able to maintain an average gap of 10 mm from the ground surface. Its designing was done on CATIA V5 software. S O F T S K I L LS

A R E A S O F I N T E R E S T
Western Coalfields Limited, Nagpur
Duration – 15 Days
Designation - Trainee
Roles & Responsibilities
• To get an overview about the functioning of various machines like Load Haul Dumper, Universal Drill Machine, Ventilation Fan, etc.
• To analyze the Main Ventilation System used in underground mining.
• To suggest some solution in order to improve the performance of Main Ventilator.
Achievements
• Suggested to use a diffuser at the exit of Fan so that there is no sudden pressure drop at the exit which in turn could reduce the vibrations in Fan.
• Suggested to use Eppler 420 blade profile as it show maximum coefficient of lift to coefficient of drag ratio. T R A I N I N G
