My career in Facilities Management started in August 2010 with Drake n Scull as a Handyman based in PMB Branch. I was then transferred to Greyville Standard Bank as a Refreshment Attendant. A year later I was promoted to a Quality Controller in Greyville. I was then transferred to Durban Cash Centre also as a Quality Controller. Later I was transferred to Kingsmead Provincial Head Office also as a Quality Controller. In Dec 2013 Drake n Scull was taken over by TFMC (Total Facilities Management Company) under section 197 of the Employment Act. My job title then changed to a Site Administrator. As a Site Administrator my duties also spread out and included the other sites as well. As of July 2015 TFMC, became known as Bidvest Facilities Management. On the 01st of December 2015 I was promoted to the Building Supervisor of Standard Bank Durban Cash Centre. On the 10th of October 2016 I was then transferred to Standard Bank Greyville Centre also as a Building Supervisor. As on 1 December 2017 I became the Building Supervisor for Standard Bank Kingsmead Provincial Head Office. On the 1st of July 2019 I was appointed as the Soft Service Manager for Tsebo Facilities Solutions at the Unilever La Lucia Contract. I was also overseeing the portfolio of Risk & Compliance Manager on site.
