Project Manager for the Safe Kirkuk integrated Telecommunications Network which consists of TETRA communications, CCTV city network, and a Microwave backbone network for the city of Kirkuk Iraq.

KTS Systems was subcontracted by Frequentis AG. for construction of the MOI integrated CCTV and Tetra Network with a Microwave Backbone in Kirkuk / Iraq to monitor security and traffic and provide Police with a reliable communication system. The network consisted of about 170 cameras (Point to Multi point) covering the city as well as checkpoints, 14 redundant Microwave links, and 8 Tetra sites with towers and base stations.

KTS installed, configured, the TETRA Base stations, the telecom shelters, the Microwave backbone, and provided Frequentis remote access from Vienna to further configure the applications.

Humpback Bridge – The George Washington Memorial Parkway in Arlington County, Virginia

Scope included Rehabilitation of the Boundary Channel Bridge Deck by hydro-demolition of the existing deck and replacing it with Fiber Reinforced Concert. Complete removal and replacement of the east and west sidewalks & curbs along with approach slabs. Work included concrete repairs on girders and beams on the substructure and re-pointing of stone masonry. Bridge was cleaned and pressure washed.

Pimmit Run Bridge - George Washington Memorial Parkway Repair of Pimmit Run Bridge, maintenance, and painting of bridge in a controlled environment. Virginia Department of Transportation

Dulles Toll Road Widening and Rehabilitation, Fairfax County, VDOT Resident Engineer for construction inspection and testing services for widening and rehabilitation of 4 miles of highway, under extremely heavy traffic condition. This $37 million project included adding an extra lane to existing two lanes, resurfacing, retaining walls and sound barriers, and widening and redecking of two bridges.

Expansion of VA Route 236 (Little River Turnpike), Fairfax City and County, for Virginia Department of Transportation. Expansion of roadway from two to three lanes plus turnouts. Project also included rehab of existing roadway. In addition to on-site inspection and monitoring of construction operations for compliance with plans, specifications, and environmental requirements, responsibilities also included maintaining project documentation, preparing monthly estimates, and responding to citizen concerns.
