MAIN OBJECTIVE:

To look after the Quality management System of the still water and flavored water packaging section to achieve the targeted productivity with all quality and legal compliances within the budget. To ensure the plant operations proceeded with the systems and procedures set and adhere to the production plans for the respective field

My duties and tasks include the following

Supervision of the Quality Control staff

Implementation of systems and procedures to ensure manufacturing operations of the factory meets production plans,product quality and cost standards

Assisting the Production Supervisors on process optimization; yields and product quality specifications achievement

Ensure quality orientation and intensify quality improvement programmes to improve the cost effectiveness of the manufacturing process for the factory.

Monitoring of working conditions ensuring continuous provision of a safe and healthy working environment for the factory.

Ensure that appropriate SOPs are developed and maintained all the times.

Implement plant safety programs and ensure compliance with FSSC 22000, HACCP and Good manufacturing practices (GMPs).

Maintaining of all quality records to ensure effective monitoring of the manufacturing process in the factory.

Calibrations of all laboratory equipment such as pH meters, scales, and process monitoring equipment; temperature, pressure and time gauges.

Custodianship of flavoured water recipes and specifications, review and distribution/ communication of these; management of product labels.

Validations of other process equipment such as CIP systems.

Carrying out supplier audits as part of the supplier evaluation exercise

Handling of customer complaints on food safety and quality defects

Evaluation of employee training needs and developing and delivering these training programs to meet the identified training needs, with aid of a skills matrix.

Controlling and monitoring of sub-contracted analysis for products, services and facilities.
