Modeling and thermal analysis of micro channel coil & fin andtube coil for heat pump system under frost and defrost conditions

To compare the fin & tube coil and micro channel coil under frost, defrost conditions and to find better heat transfer rate coil among them. We used Solid Works for Modeling and Ansys for Analysis. Copper and Aluminum are the materials to make the Heat Exchangers. And finally we found that the Copper has the highest Heat Transfer Rate under Defrost condition while Water is used as refrigerant. In this Project, I acted as Team Leader.
