Project Experience

State of Maryland, DHS (Contractor), Enterprise Agile Coach May 2018 – Present

• Serving DHS (Department of Human Services) MD THINK program as the lead Enterprise Agile Coach. Project is a multi-year cloud transformation of their legacy systems.

• Contributing to the enterprise-wide Agile SAFe transformation/adoption and continuous improvement across the organization with over 50 agile teams.

• Coaching activities involve working with all organizational levels (teams, stakeholders, and leadership) to help them use a Lean-Agile approach for culture change and value based delivery.

• Designed and gained leadership approval for re-launch of entire enterprise SAFe ART structure from 2 large trains into 7 value stream based Trains, as part of a large system Solution Train.

AmerisourceBergen (Contractor), Senior Scrum Master / Agile Coach Oct 2017 – Mar 2018

• Working as Scrum Master for multiple Data Analytics Scrum teams that are responsible for the AmerisourceBergen Enterprise Analytics Platform.

• As Coach/Servant Leader: Instruction/guidance on Scrum framework, Scrum ceremonies, grooming, backlog management. Specific guidance on story writing, portfolio management, and release planning with Product Owners and BAs

• Schedule and facilitate the Scrum process (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, scrum of scrums, sprint reviews & retrospectives).

• Established team governance, Sprint schedule, ceremonies (ex. Demo’s, Retrospective), evaluated and introduced sprint execution velocity and led/coordinated corresponding activities.

Barclays (Contractor), Product Owner - Financial Domain Nov 2014 – Jan 2017

• Serving as Technical Product Owner and Agile Team Coach as part of Customer Care web applications used by service agents for Barclays consumer card and consumer loans business. Responsible for backlog, stories, roadmap, sprints, and release planning for multiple local/offshore teams. Working with stakeholders across many project business initiatives to insure delivery.
