Flight Officer-Emirates Airlines-Dubai International Airport 07-FEB-2016 till date
1.To direct and control all ground handling activities on assigned flights and acts as the point of contact for airlines and teams for flight related information in order to achieve safe and RTG (Ready to Go)on time departure in line with the SLAs and Emirates/dnata operations procedures. Oversees the flight schedules and reviews aircraft ready state to ensure on-time flight arrival and departure
2.Organizes and supervises the work of a small team on the day of operations to ensure that work is completed efficiently and in compliance with procedures
-Briefs Aircraft Loading Supervisor and Customer Service Team Leader on the flight details to ensure that flight requirements are covered
-Coordinates all activities (above and below wing) for a safe timely Turnaround process.
-Fuelling,Ground support Equipments,Flightplan,Landing permission Assistance,ATC slot coordination,Pax handling,Crew check in assistance,Baggage control and coordination.
3.Ensuring all local & aviation regulations are duly implemented and abided with efficient time frame and safety . Records the provision of additional ground services above the agreed SLA to ensure accurate flight wise billing is undertaken, to protect from revenue leakage. - Complies with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.
-Ensures safety of staff and that they have the skills, knowledge, and confidence to work safely by providing support, direction for the desired safety behaviors and leading with safety. - Implements departmental policies, processes, procedures and provides instructions to the team on the day of operations.
4. Reporting the flight activities daily basis to management and recommending corrective action if any shortfalls are identified.
-Contributes to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices, cost reduction and productivity improvement.
-Collects relevant flight briefings from Airline representatives to ensure resources are correctly allocated.
-Acts as the focal point on the day of operations for a particular flight, makes the required decisions and provides guidance and direction to the officers and Aircraft Loading Supervisor on shift respectively
5.Maintain effective service standards by supervising both below and above the wings process on entire turn around flight activities including loading, unloading, Boarding, Load sheet formulation.
6.Periodical audit on the daily flight operations and conducting investigations on raised service feed backs from customer airlines or other stake holders. Investigates significant flights delays and any breaches of SLAs to ensure that corrective action measures are taken and the appropriate report is created .
7.Builds and maintains relationship with internal and external departments such as DAC, JCR, Group Safety & Security, Airport Police, Immigration, airline customers to ensure that the needs are met and satisfaction is enhanced .
8.Participates and supports Emirates Emergency Response Plan, AOCC Business Continuity Plan in the event of the AOCC facility becoming inaccessible and facilitates the setup and management of the Disruption Support desk during disruptions at DXB and/or DWC.
9.Communicates Monitors regularly with Aircraft Loading Supervisor and the Customer Services takes immediate action to rectify irregular operations through the deployment of resources on the shift, and the formulation and communication of recovery plans to optimize turnaround performance.
10.Reviews the DMIS regularly to ensure that the flights are created, edited and updated regularly in line with the flight status.
Controller -Senior Aircraft Dispatcher- SHJ Intl Airport 02-JAN- 2013 till 24-NOV- 2015
1.Controlling Daily entire shift activities both load control process supervision and ground dispatch activities.
2.Advance projected manpower planning to meet unexpected shortage as per flight frequencies.
