To overcome some of the difficulties with the present drones, such as safety factor, efficiency, tip losses and sound we've made certain changes in the parts used by the commercial drones. Well we've thought of using a duct inside which the fan will be fixed which works as the principle similar to exit fans. The air will be sucked by the fan from the inlet and comes out as thrust at exit. The duct guides the path for the flow as well as increases the velocity of the air leaving the duct. Since we are using the fans which will be inside the duct the fans are not exposed outside to the environment hence no danger of flying the drone at low altitudes. Also since we are using the fans instead of propellers there is no tip loss, hence the efficiency is increased. Now coming to noise of the drones. We all know that as the number of blades increases the noise reduces.
