Academic Projects
Joint validation of V band Clamp with the help of single axis Oscillation test and result correlation of the simulation.
The Objective of this project is to understand the damage equivalence between V-band Clamp Assembly test and Oscillating load test. Also, to propose modification for the analysis approach based on the test method and results correlation.
Impact Analysis of femoral implant of injured human knee. This project mainly concentrates on impact analysis of the artificial femoral component and optimization. MRI scan of the human knee was captured to create the 3D image. Reverse engineering technique was used to create the 3D model from the 3D image. The femoral implant for the knee was modelled using SOLIDWORKS and subjected for Impact analysis with the help of Ansys.

Study on Additive manufactured Gradient Gyroid structure. This paper mainly concentrates on the method for CAD modelling of the gyroid structure with gradient density and to manufacture the same using additive manufacturing technique. The fabricated model was then subjected to compression testing to compare the strength with the solid model.
Design and fabrication of friction stir welding tool. This paper mainly concentrates on designing the FSW tool of different pin profiles. The FSW tool has a cylindrical shoulder and profiled pin. This pin was designed with different pin profiles to remove different amount of plasticized material. Then the tools with different pin profiles were fabricated based on the design.
