A 100% subsidiary of Pentair Inc, Pentair Water India is the largest manufacturer and distributor of water management components and systems in India. It has its own unique CDR (Centre for Design & Research) center at Noida which takes water solution to every industrial, commercial and residential application across India.
Worked in a team for complete design, CAD modeling & assembly & detailing of specific projects with following responsibilities:
Study tender document, coordinate with sales, clients, process, manufacturing, E&C teams & clarify project requirement, deliverables, scope of supply and deadlines.
Managing projects with redefining scope, scheme finalization
(PFD/P&ID), component Sizing & selection /operation philosophy, spec sheets, conceptual design, design selection & validation, manufacturing
& sourcing documents, assembly/testing procedures, prototyping etc.
Established various processes to ensure consistent & efficient output of system design team through defining workflow, standardizing formats/ templates for drawings. Preparing data sheets for all the Equipment’s/Pumps/Valve & Instruments. Finalizing format for O&M manual, BOM & Cut list etc.
Conducting Field Trials and in-house test for alpha/ beta designs of projects running through rapid product development process. Commissioning documents, spare part /tool List, working out transportation/lifting preparing worksheets etc.
Make complete manufacturing package which includes skid, assembly & sub assembly drawing, Instrument Hook up drawing, piping tie-in, Cable routing drawing & detailed GA drawing.
Lead mechanical design & documentation activities for Pentair standard system offerings for technologies like reverse osmosis, ultra- filtration, micro-filtration, ACF/MMF, water Softeners, and chemical dosing etc.
Calculations for pressure loss, pipe size etc. is also done as well as skid FEA analysis performed based on static & lifting conditions.
Leading localization/standardization projects for existing Pentair technologies to be manufactured in other countries.VA/VE is also integral part of such projects.
Partly supported service team for regular system checkups & trouble shooting activities at customer site.
Designed skid based containerized systems for various capacity, process conditions, regulatory & other requirements.

Pure Pack System:
Pure pack is a Research and Development initiative to introduce a solution for oil and gas industry relating to the treatment and potential reuse of produced water or industrial process water. This system directly targets the filtration and separation of entrained particles by implementing a cartridge filtration based system utilizing Ultra-Low flux theory.
Skid design & FEA analysis, pump, instrument and other components sizing and selection.
Layout, detail design, operation philosophy, commissioning documents.
Assembly procedure, lifting drawing, cad drawings etc.
DFMEA, DFM, PUGH matrix all tools been used in designing this system.
Rotomolded manifold:
To Discover/ Develop a manifold with min. leakage points
Run FEA analysis on various temperature and Pressure conditions.
Checked the desired material for the Rotomolding.
Manifold should be reusable, lighter in weight and cost effective.
Easy to assemble.
Apex element design:
UltiSep technology was developed to effectively remove liquid aerosols from gas streams. UltiSep flows from the inside-to-the- outside, reducing the gas velocity as the droplets are being removed.
~ 40% additional Surface area in comparison to existing circular shape elements. This should result in reduced CAPEX and OPEX for customer.
Two different design patterns are proposed for the development.
Unique design having IP Potential – Technology landscaping is needed.
Less number of elements change out during maintenance.
Limited Space for customer replacement with Unique Riser Design.
New plasma treated filter media will provide more efficiency. CAIRN-ONGC:
335 GPM Produced water:-Layout design for the project, proposal tender support, Layout design is considered while going through all of the technical documents, data, vendor data list. HMEL SWS LAYOUT:
Complete Layout design considering the functionality and ergonomics. This Project awarded to Pentair for a 1M$ Sour water package by HMEL.
HRT Systems:
HRT proven solids controls and hydrocarbon recovery performance while eliminating the need for expensive excess processing, chemical additives, and storage tank capacity. With hydrocarbon recovery efficiencies of 99.98%, HRT produces a sellable product, balancing or even outweighing operating costs and capital investment.
