MINI PROJECT
The main focus of this project was to design and develop the mechanism for robotic arm for lifting. The robotic arm was designed with five degrees of freedom and programmed to accomplish accurately simple light material lifting task to assist in the production line in any industry. Wireless control was done by using a smart phone with android operating system through a Bluetooth module.
PROJECT
Wire-feed additive manufacturing (AM) is a promising alternative to traditional subtractive manufacturing for fabricating large expensive metal components with complex geometry. The current research focus on wire-feed AM to produce complex-shaped functional components with good geometry accuracy, surface finish and material property. Material used: Inconel 617(ERNiCrCoMo - 1 617),
Mechanical tests (Tensile, Compression, Shear, Torsion, Flexure) are used to find out the properties of the materials.
