Project
Title : Design and analysis of micro cantilever beam (MEMS) using ANSYS. Description : Sensitivity of the micro cantilever beams of different shapes is calculated and analyzed using ANSYS software and the sensitivities of different shaped beams is compared and the shape of the beam with highest sensitivity is obtained. Sensitivity plays a very vital role in the sensors as they are used to sense the information or any changes in their surroundings so the sensor with highest sensitivity is to be selected. Sensors place themselves in many roles and departments like Automobile, Medical devices etc. In this project we found that the micro cantilever beam with the triangular shape with curved edge shows a increase in sensitivity of about 62% having the higher order of frequency.
