JOB DESCRIPTION:
Over all in charge of the projects and to report directly to the Contracts Manager of the company concerning weekly development of the projects
Conduct and presides in the weekly management and technical meeting at site with the client and contractors to make sure that the construction program is met.
Prepare monthly progress report.
Review and approve progress billings of contractors
Review and recommend claims of variation orders of the contractors to the owner/client.
Work with the team engineers of the project.
Prepare weekly status report to be presented in the meeting.
Review contract of the contractors
Prepare contract close out of the contractors.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Supervising and executing of all civil works at site
-Following up with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project.
-Preparing checklists and getting approvals from the client.
-Preparing daily progress reports.
-Supervising on backfilling and water proofing works.
-Supervising on structural repair of defective concrete as per specifications and method statement
-Supervision of work from surveying the location of building structures, excavation for footings, sub-structure to super structure, masonry, waterproofing and other finishing works (i.e. tile, painting works etc.)
