Evaluate vendor-supplied firmware/software packages and make recommendations to IT management. Make recommendations regarding the optimization of software and hardware integration on the existing network infrastructure.

Participate in component and data architecture design, software product evaluation and buy versus build recommendations

Maintained configuration, build, and maintenance of Cox VMware environment, which included a mix of infrastructure Dell, Dell Blades, Cisco C240’s, Cisco UCS B200 M4 and M5. Patch management was a major part of the contract, working with security teams to come up with a remediation plan for over 4000 security fixes that needed been applied affecting over 200 applications. Using Qualys, Cohesity, VM snapshots, and tableau to identify critical fixes that could be applied in a 30,60 and 90 need to be applied.

I was responsible for helping to teach and train senior engineers on SITA policies, and procedures as it relates to new technologies being implemented by SITA.

I designed plans for workflow automation for Microsoft Server deployments using CA IPAM Process automation tools.

Composed, Reviewed, and audited design documents for Disaster Recovery based on RTO and RPO objectives.
