Provide rapid assessment and treatment to patients in the initial phase of illness or trauma and often in life-threatening situations.

Assessing, intervening and stabilizing a variety of trauma and illnesses with decisive action.

Identify the medical problem

Check for any allergies and current medications

Obtain height, weight, body temperature, heart rate and blood pressure

Assists physician in providing patient care

Establishes intravenous access to the patient

Performs cardiopulmonary resuscitation to unconscious and non-breathing patients
