Employed in Indore Smart City Development Ltd., Indore since 4th May 2017.

Indore Smart City Development Ltd. (ISCDL) is a company incorporated by the Urban Development Department of the State Government with the sole objective of executing more than 100 projects under the Smart City Mission conceptualized by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi.

ISCDL campus monitors various activities related to the Smart City Mission as well as Swachh Bharat Mission, another dream mission of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi. Challenging activities at ISCDL campus are managed by the Municipal Commissioner of Indore, backed by Additional Commissioners and senior officers of the Indore Municipal Corporation and ISCDL.

At ISCDL, I have been appointed as the Stenographer attached to the CEO’s Office and manage different activities, including:

1.Handling independent correspondence in English.

2.Monitoring the industrial training by students from various educational institutions.

3. Monitoring the Front Office with the dedicated and whole-hearted support of a female employee and other support staff. The Front Office is one of the most important functional areas of ISCDL, which remains vibrant and crowded with visitors throughout the day.

At the Front Office, we are instrumental in carrying out very crucial activities in managing it efficiently. Our responsibilities include -

1.Receiving guests of the Mayor, District Collector, Municipal Commissioner, Additional Commissioners and other senior officers of both the Municipal Corporation and ISCDL.

2.Receiving teams from different parts of the country as well as foreign countries, who visit Indore to witness themselves the cleanliness of the city and the various methodologies adopted by it, to become eligible for the “cleanest city of the country” status in two successive years.

3.Attending other visitors, contractors, consultants, NGOs, Directors, District Councilors etc. who visit the office regularly.

4.Receiving letters, tender and other documents, scrutinizing them and distributing to concerned officers/departments.

5.Following up with concerned officers/departments in regard to various matters including tenders floated by the company.

6.Taking initiatives in arranging various meetings, including progress review meetings, board of directors’ meetings, tender pre-bid meetings, job interviews etc.

7.Attending telephone calls and further necessary action.

8.Managing incoming / outgoing e-mails.

9.Co-ordination with different departments of the organization.
