FICO Consultant at Convatec

Senior SAP FICO consultant responsible for changes to the Finance system at Convatec. These changes included the initial business requirements (GAP analysis the As-is and To-be), blueprint preparation, configuration, and build (on new changes / functionality), testing, GO LIVE and post- production support.

Senior SAP FICO consultant responsible for the configuration and SAP implementation of COPA – Combined COPA solution for the entire Convatec entities. The implementation focused on the design, build test and implementation of the COPA- Combined COPA to replace the standard SAP Costing based CO-PA solution.

Project Manager and Lead coordinator for the implementation of the Winshuttle Journal Entry solution globally. Convatec had a Journal entry solution called JET that needed to be replaced and updated with a new solution. Convatec managment opted to purchase the Winshuttle tool to replace the JET templates. I was the individual responsable for the end to end implmentation of that tool from business requirements gathering all of way to GO LIVe for the US, Europe, and APAC markets.

Accountable for the implementation of EMAGIA system at convatec. Emagia was purchased by Convatec to replace the Cash application system in SAP and increase the ratio of invoices clear via the automation of Cash applications processes such as incoming payments, cash discounts and correspondence management.

I was also responsible for the supervision of additional changes to existing SAP configuration done by our outisde consultants from IBM. Any configuration changes to the Finance SAP system needed to be review and authorized by me, and It was my responsibility to ensure that these changes were according to Covatec GOA guidelines and that updated documentation was available before any changes were moved to production.

Responsible for the SAP implementation of the remaining Johnson and Johnson legal entities into the US1MD platform. As part of this SAP implementation, I was responsible for the configuration of the Legal entities organizational structures which included the definition of the Company code, COA and Global parameters for the legal entities as well as the integration with the accounts payable, Accounts Receivable and General Ledger modules.
