PERSONAL SUMMARY
ON
MOEGAMAT SEDICK SAMODIEN
AVAILABILITY/NOTICE: 2 Calendar months
My expertise and experience in the Technical and Facilities Management field has assisted me in holding key positions in four major organisations over the past 30 years. I am a qualified and licensed master electrician with a sound technical background, coupled with a number of years of experience ranging from installations, maintenance, site supervision, project management, operations management and strategic planning.
My solid management background is a result of six years of participation in extensive training and development programs. I simultaneously supported my practical development with formal theoretical advancement through attendance and completion of accredited diplomas recognized institutions.
The core of my Career has essentially been in the Facilities Management services, namely; building plant and equipment, installations and maintenance, Security management, Project Management, Health and Safety compliance, Landscaping, Tenant Liaison, and Office Installations. Responsibilities and key functions include budgets and financial control, staff management, technical support, operations process management, marketing and liaison, work processes, contract compilation and vendor management. They also include major installations (from the conception stage until handover), statutory compliance and standards, environmental and energy management, ergonomics and disaster management.
Much of my career was spent in addressing inefficiencies and poor standards by revising process and structures which were not operating at a “best practice “level. My strong technical skills and experience also supported me well with a range of projects, from basic building fabric refurbishes to major electrical/mechanical upgrades or replacements.
I am confident that I have the necessary skills, experience and aptitude to make a positive contribution to any company in the field of Facilities and Property Management, be it strategic or operational.
