Duties and Responsibilities in my last assignment at Excelsior Hotel Downtown “formerly” Holiday Inn Downtown Dubai

Copying and distributing of internal/external letters, forms, bookings, contracts, resumes, room lists, schedules, and mail. E-mail correspondence directed by managers as needed. Filing, faxing, and distribution of incoming/outgoing mail.

Answer telephone and assist internal and external guests with requests.

Attends weekly sales departmental meeting and other scheduled meetings to support business operations, such as group pick up meeting, weekly operations meeting, and weekly sales meet- ing.

Assists with special projects assigned by management.

Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required by management.

Maintain a good working relationship with other departments, employees, and guests.

Ensure that the sales enquiry process is conducted in a timely manner that meets internal proce- dures and customer satisfaction.

Support incoming enquiries, co-ordinate client meetings and support contract preparation.

Manage the timely production of contracts internally and progress their status with the client.

Implement ways of maintaining relationships with all current and past In-Comm clients. Main- tain, enhance and keep up to date all aspects of the In-Comm’s web site.

Manage multiple campaigns across diverse channels simultaneously to ensure they are delivered on time & within budget.

Work with key business heads to plan a campaign calendar & take into account leverage around hotel events and seasonal/promotional activity.
