Our project comprises of two mechanism namely climbing mechanism and harvesting mechanism. Climbing mechanism consist of climbing robots for that purpose Dc motors have been use. Harvesting mechanism consist of robotic arm with end effector as circular saw. We developed an android app through which we controlled both mechanisms. For establishing link between robot and android app Bluetooth (HC-05) is used. Android controlled arduino robot car make use of an Android mobile phone for robotic control with the help of HC-05 Bluetooth technology. Then user needs to turn on the bluetooth in the mobile. The wireless communication techniques used to control the robot is bluetooth technology. User can use various commands like move forward, reverse, stop move left, move right. These commands are sent from the Android mobile to the bluetooth receiver which is interfaced with the Arduino robot.
It is a machine which follows a line, it may be a black line or a white line. Line follower actually senses the line and run over it. We have used the behavior of light at black and white surface. It consists of mainly four parts: two sensors, two comparators, one decision-making device and two motor drivers. The robot is built using microcontroller AT89C51 (used as the decision-making device), motor driver L293D, operational amplifier LM324 (comparator), phototransistor (sensor) and a few discrete components.
