Honors Of Public Administration
Honors degree taught me patience as I have to interact with different people during interviews. Working with people requires a lots of listen skills, respect and understand that they all have different opinions and that mean you have to approach them differently and structure your questions in a friendly and accommodative way. Throughout I have gained a a research skill. If you dont have patience you will have hard time in getting information that you need.

TEEEP program (Teaching)
Kenosis is a home which have different kids who are at different age of groups and have different learning skills, as some were slow learners, some are special students ( could not read), some have finished school, some are at different grades. Therefore, teaching this kids was challenging since you can not teach a term and move forward you have to explain it in a rigorously way for those that are slow learners. You must also have different examples and definitions. I learn how to accommodate everyone and be at every child level.
YMCA Pietermaritzburg

I have gained this skill by answering and making phone calls, welcoming people, printing and copying papers and assisting anyone who comes in looking for help. This was happening only if I'm at the office which means most of the time as I was at YMCA Monday to Friday.

I had a good experience doing this, there was a lots of love and togetherness/ unity as we were all working hand in hand. There table will compete on which one had many packages, by doing that they were encouraging us to work fast by still together and most importantly having fun knowing that you making a change in to somebody else's life.
