PROFILE SUMMARY

Employed as a maintenance mechanic for 28 years at Springerville Generating station with duties that consisted of working on conveyer systems, repairing and maintaining submersible pumps, also trouble shooting all equipment necessary for a day to day operations (i.e. boilers and steam turbine generators, valves, pumps, and conveyer belts). Ability to operate forklifts and various heavy equipment vehicles (i.e. vacuum trucks, man-lift, scissor-lift). Extensive experience in using laser alignment equipment and manual dial indicators. Worked as a mechanic/welder during shutdowns/outages when needed. Experience in reading and understanding blueprints. Knowledge with the lockout/tag out procedures when working in an industrial facility. Received MSHA Certification in January 2019 and welding certification in 1984.

Installed a Rotext Machine for a Sand Plant which consisted of welding structural beams to hold machinery in place.
