Job Responsibilities and Clinical Skills:

Clinical:

A- Pediatric Neurology:

•Conducting in-patient ward rounds; one full week every month, in the pediatric neurology ward.

•Management and follow up of patients at the pediatric neurology clinic, Ain Shams University - 2 clinics per week.

•Neuro-electrophysiology: Conducting and interpreting electroencephalograms (EEG).

•Emergency and On-Call duty, responding to consultation requests involving children with neurological emergencies, case assessment, 5

prescribing management plans, and then patient follow up during their hospital stay and after discharge, almost on a daily basis, both in the Hospital wards as well as for Neuro-critical cases admitted at the PICU at Ain Shams University Children Hospital.

•Member of the residents’ surveillance committee: A recently started committee, which is responsible for the continuous guidance and teaching of residents, resident periodic assessments, etc. B- General Paediatrics:

• Regularly conducting in-patient ward rounds, Supervision and On-call Consultant in Pediatric Outpatient clinic and Emergency department At Ain Shams University Children Hospital.
