DUTIES :
1. Managing of legal department and overseeing legal processes on matters; 2. Managing and working with client SA Breweries Ltd, and new client Nxatel Business Solutions;
3. Attending to all new instructions for the above clients, and printing out all documentation and generating all section 129 letters for new handovers on client, SA Breweries and also opening up physical files for the above clients as well as some general clients.
4. Opening of all accounts and generating of Link accounts and new accounts on system for all general matters, SA Breweries and other relevant clients; 5. Liaising with client, SA brewery on e-mails/queries /reports and sending e- mails to clients with regard to reporting, direct deposits, payments etc. 6. Attending to urgent queries and e-mails from clients and reporting to client on matters.
7. Running of SA brewery report and sending same to client on a daily basis. 8. Working with diary files for client, Sa Breweries on a daily basis and handing files to relevant departments i.e. Call centre, sheriff and drafter to attend to the necessary work that needs to get done; 9. Assisting call centre with payments queries and drafter with necessary drafting of legal documents on a daily basis.

10. Opening of files and maintaining an efficient and effective departmental filing system, also assist the filing clerk on daily basis with correspondence and finding of files.
11. Capturing of client, Sa Breweries payments and trust payments and general matter payments on system on a daily basis and also taking collection commission on payments.
12. Writing up fees for client Sa Breweries every month and recently new client Nxatel Business Solutions.
13. Compiling of Default judgement bundles when judgement has been drafted for client Sa Breweries and attending to draft list and sending judgments to court for lodging and following up on judgments with court messenger and reporting to the necessary parties on progress of judgments at court. 14. Attending to rescission matters and Kirchmann matters and liaising with correspondent attorneys on progress of matters, also reporting on matters. 15. Opening of all Docex and post when collected by driver and distribution of invoices to the sheriff’s department for payment and all necessary returns to the relevant persons that deal with clients, ABI, Samro, and Ekhuruleni. 16. Diarizing of files on a daily basis to be put away in filing cabinets. 17. Attending to correspondence from filing clerk on a daily basis and working with same ie. Returns, writs, default judgement orders, filed judgments; 18. Attending to and working with Monthly Recon for client, Sa Breweries. 19. Scanning and sending judgments orders to law-data for uploading against debtor’s names when judgement has been granted for client SA Breweries and also e-mailing client orders on accounts that have been written off. 20. Attending to closing of accounts on system and physical files for client, Sa Breweries when accounts are settled and judgement has been obtained and written off.
