●Implements approved records disposition processes, ensuring that no records are destroyed without proper authorization as specified in the Federal Records Act.

●Provides ongoing general and/or program specific training to Health Care System staff related to records management, ensuring all records liaisons are trained on the creation, maintenance, use, storage, and disposition of the records created within their area of responsibility.

●Serves as the subject matter expert and technical advisor for RIM principles, electronic records, and information management and information governance oversight.

●Advises health care system personnel on the maintenance and/or disposition of documents not included in an approved Systems of Records (e.g., temporary records, non-records, working papers, personal papers, etc.) and acts as a point of contact for management of unscheduled records.

●Creates and presents training for Records Liaison Officers and provides guidance in identifying the resources available and responsibilities needed for adequate records management.
