SHAMROCK FOODSERVICE COMPANY – Greater Phoenix Area 9/14–present

$4 billion – western region - broadline foodservice distributor that also does some of its own manufacturing in dairy, oil, meats. Seafood, beverage, and produce.

Sr. Category Manager / Director / Supply Chain (7/15–present) Led the non-foods, chemical, beverage, supply & equipment, and salty snack categories for the enterprise. These categories account for 25% of the company’s total gross profit. Successfully partnered R3 (Bunzl) where we developed a strategy to increase our market share in non-foods by 150 basis points over a 3 year period. This partnership also allowed us to expand our item offering while drastically reducing our days inventory on hand.

● Flexed Supply Chain operations during COVID-19 shutdown to reduce inventory by $55m, then back up 60 days later.

● Days inventory on hand reduction from 31.8 days to 14.1 days. This number continues to reduce and represents more than $3 million in working capital.

● Developed a proprietary rolled towel dispensing system (ProSystem) where we placed over 8,000 units in a 90 day period. Over a 12 month period, this will represent over $600k in total gross profit.

● Facilitated numerous RFPs that on average resulted in over $500k in cost of goods savings annually.

● On-boarded over $600 million in new systems business over a 90 day period resulting in expanding our distribution into Nevada, Idaho, Texas, and Montana.

● Expanded into the healthcare segment, bringing on $35 million in new business.

Regional Director of Purchasing - West / Supply Chain (7/14 – 9/14) Promoted to regional director of purchasing with accountability for 16 distribution centers with purchases over $4 billion annually. Developed a business plan to semi-centralize purchasing within 4 pods for the mid-west region. By dividing purchasing into pods that purchased for four separate locations, we reduced the work force by 35% while maintaining a 99.5% service level.

● Collaborated with the corporate VP of Marketing to develop an enterprise marketing program that would drive an additional

$1.5 million in revenue to the bottom line.

Responsible for a daily inventory value of $70 million. Managed contract pricing for large chain and small chain customers. ● Designed and wrote the marketing plan for the annual marketing events that the purchasing income dollars would support.
