Description: VM ware invests $100M+ of Development Funds annually with their top partners. Currently the partner planning process associated with these funds. The process is limited and varies by Geo, Region, countries within Geo/ Region, partner type, and PBM / PMM.
The development fund process is complicated for partners, unclear at a global and corporate level how it is aligned with VMware strategic objectives and requires improvements around maximizing ROI. Funds are allocated on a quarterly basis which results in tactical, short-term focused activities. This is impaired by a globally inconsistent planning process and engagement between partners, PBMs, and PMMs.
