Organized and promoted community forums and seminars on mental health awareness
Worked to establish a partnership with the Howard University Department of Art and the Carolyn Anne Foundation to promote early detection of mental health awareness, particularly among children.
Edited and/or assisted in writing proposals for several million-dollar NIH grants (Alliance for Graduate Education and the Professoriate); Pew Charitable Trusts (Preparing Future Faculty); NIH (Social, Behavioral and Educational Science), and others to promote education of underrepresented groups and individuals in science disciplines
